On March 15, 2002, seventy-six days before the start of the World Cup in Korea and Japan. A number of snakebites were reported, and traces of a mass migration of snakes were found in the suburbs. Several snakebites and bizarre reactions from the dead and injured, and before the snake plague could cause panic among the public, snake experts and folk snake doctors had already arrived in the city to secretly conduct intense research on the impending outbreak of the snake plague. A grumpy municipal worker, Crazy, who is familiar with the city's underground pipe network, is implicated by his work unit in the snake plague. As the snake infestation spreads, citizens begin to realize that the city is in a state of disaster. But as a tourist city, the city leaders are hesitant to make a decision. On the surface of the city, everything remains the same, but the underground world has been overrun by snakes.
